Science and technology research and services:  

• Environmental research and education
• Developing curriculum, textbook and teaching materials on environmental education
• Developing and applying environment protection technology
• Science and technology services: consultation, textbook development, scientific document translation, data collection, training on environment and environmental education

CERE co-ordinates with Vietnam MAB national committee on building database for biosphere reserve nomination, cooperation of the biosphere reserve network in Vietnam.

Additionally, CERE supports for training and internship for undergraduate and graduate students in the fields of Environment and Biology.
