In addition to training international students under the Ministry of Education and Training Agreement, in the 2018-2019 school year, the university signed a training contract with Dream Hill Group (Korea), organizing Vietnamese language classes for students coming from China and Korea. Besides, the University has organized training classes and assessment tests of Vietnamese language ability for foreigners according to the 6-level framework issued by the Ministry of Education and Training.

In the school year 2018-2019, the University awarded Bachelor's degrees to 40 foreign students, Master's degrees to 05 foreign students, and doctoral degrees to 02 foreign Ph.D. students; received 269 foreigners to study at the University; held exams and granted certificates of Vietnamese language ability to 77 foreigners; providing short courses to 139 foreigners; professional training for 40 Lao teachers; the number of foreigners and the number of countries studying Vietnamese at the University has been continuously increased (school year 2017-2018: 210 people, school year 2018-2019: 331 people, the number of countries goes up from 6 or more 9 countries).
