Speaking at the signing ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Duc Son, President of Hanoi National University of Education, warmly welcomed the practice and internship institutions attending the meeting. Hanoi National University of Education has more than 70 years in teacher training, and has been developing training programs related to social fields. In particular, the Faculty of Social Work is one of the leading faculties in social work training in Vietnam and contributes to the development of society. The close cooperation between HNUE and practice and internship institutions for students to have the opportunity to learn and develop their careers, in order to prepare a quality human resource for society plays an important role in improving the quality of training and career development in the field of social work. This is also an opportunity for HNUE to cooperate, expand and improve training and research programs, as well as practical activities for students and lecturers to access effective practical models, helping social work students have the opportunity to learn and practice in extremely important and practical fields for the community.

On the occasion of the anniversary of Vietnam Social Work Day and the signing ceremony of cooperation with practice and internship institutions, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thanh Binh - Dean of Faculty of Social Work expressed his gratitude for the attention of practice and internship institutions, shared and emphasized the crutial role of the Social Work industry in developing a fair and humane society and honoring the contributions of generations of social workers. The Faculty of Social Work has been constantly striving and developing over the years, with thousands of students receiving in-depth training, ready to participate in social activities and improve community life. Therefore, the cooperation between Hanoi National University of Education and 09 practice and internship institutions is a premise to create opportunities for students to learn and experience in practice, helping students develop professional capacity and professional values, thereby contributing positively to the development of the Social Work industry.

This signing ceremony affirms the University’s commitment to its partners in coordinating the implementation of diverse and meaningful cooperation activities, including: social work at hospitals, support for the elderly, psychological counseling, life skills education, community communication, social work with autistic children and children with developmental disorders, and social work in schools. These areas all play a vital role in improving the quality of life and promoting mental health for vulnerable groups in society. In particular, cooperation activities in the field of social work at hospitals and schools will create valuable opportunities for students to directly participate in the care and support of patients, students, and the community. At the same time, implementing psychological counseling and life skills education programs will also help improve coping skills and personal development for students, as well as people facing difficulties in life.
This cooperation agreement is not only a foundation for Hanoi National University of Education to carry out its mission of training high-quality human resources for the social work sector, but also to expand its cooperation network with organizations, medical and educational facilities, in order to bring practical values to the community and society.
