Attending the meeting with the Embassy was Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Duc Son, Vice President of HNUE; Dr. Dinh Minh Hang, Head of the President’s Office; Dr. Ngo Thi Khanh Chi, Head of the Chinese Department; Dr. Hy Thi Hong Nhung, Deputy Head of the Chinese Department.

At the meeting, Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Duc Son exchanged information related to Hanoi National University of Education with its rich history and cooperative relationships that the University has established with major universities in the region and around the world. Accordingly, Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Duc Son also emphasized cooperative relationships with universities in China.

Sharing at the meeting, Mr. Vuong Dinh Quan also affirmed the potential for developing educational cooperation between Chinese universities and Hanoi National University of Education in areas such as educational cooperation, exchange research, exchanging students, establishing dual degree programs, training teachers, supporting education in remote areas and encourage equality in education.

The meeting opened up opportunities for cooperation between Hanoi Nationa University of Education and several universities with pedagogical majors in China with the connection of the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Vietnam. At the meeting, Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Duc Son, the Vice President of HNUE also shared information about Vietnamese language training programs for foreigners at Hanoi National University of Education and the training of bachelor, master for foreigners and especially Chinese students at Hanoi National University of Education is having positive changes after a period of disruption due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

In addition, the meeting with the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Vietnam also opened up opportunities for cooperation shortly in the fields of testing, assessment, certification, dual degrees, and other related cooperation on scientific research in the field of education between Hanoi National University of Education and universities in China.
