The training course took place on January 27 and 28, 2026, featuring a diverse range of content and formats that combined theoretical study with practical experiential activities.
The course was honored to welcome Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Duc Son – President of the University; Dr. Pham Thi Thanh Thuy – Secretary of the University’s Youth Union; and MSc. Do Ba Chin – Vice Secretary of the University’s Youth Union. The keynote speakers included Dr. Le Hien Chuong – Main Lecturer at the Faculty of History, and Dr. Nguyen Thị Thu Hoai – Vice Director of the Institute for International Education and Training, alongside 384 outstanding Youth Union members.
Delivering the opening remarks, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Duc Son – President of the University congratulated the nearly 400 outstanding members selected to participate. He affirmed that these students are exemplary individuals among the thousands of students at the University. The President emphasized that participation in this course is a valuable opportunity to expand knowledge, shape correct mindsets and attitudes, and enhance self-worth through learning and experience. He expressed his hope that the members would cherish this opportunity and actively engage so that each individual becomes a better version of themselves, promoting the unique identity of HNUE Youth Union members in every task, academic pursuit, and community activity.

To open the program, participants listened to Dr. Le Hien Chuong from the Faculty of History present the topic: "Hanoi National University of Education: Journey and Milestones." He shared a meaningful and profound overview of the history of formation, the process of development, and the significant contributions of HNUE.

The program continued with a presentation on "Promoting the Identity of HNUE Students in the Context of Integration" by Dr. Nguyen Thi Thu Hoai. Throughout its nearly 75-year history, key movements such as "Three Readies," "Volunteer Youth," and "Scientific Research" have helped cultivate ideals for the youth, serving as powerful evidence of the revolutionary enthusiasm of Vietnamese youth in general and HNUE members in particular. HNUE students have consistently upheld the pioneering spirit of youth, building a fine tradition for a key national pedagogical university.

In addition to the thematic sessions, the 384 participants took part in a practical field trip to the Vietnam Military History Museum.

Through these academic themes and experiential activities, the training course helped outstanding members raise their political awareness, consolidate revolutionary ideals, and foster patriotism and a sense of responsibility toward the collective and society. It also provided a platform for members to clearly recognize their roles and responsibilities in their ongoing journey of personal and professional development.
The Training Course for Outstanding Youth Union Members is a practical and meaningful activity, demonstrating the commitment of the HNUE Youth Union to building and developing a core force of members. This serves as an important foundation for recommending elite members to the Party for consideration, further training, and future admission.
