In 2003, the university indoor stadium was put into use, becoming one of the most modern multi-purpose university competition venues in Hanoi.
From 2005 to 2010, the headquarters building, D3 building, and B building were renovated and expanded.
From the school year 2010 - 2011, the university renovated and upgraded the stadium to meet FIFA standards.
In 2015, Hall 11-10 with a capacity of 1,200 seats was completed after 4 years of construction.
In 2019, the 8-story D4 building of a high school for gifted students was put into use with a total area of more than 3,000 m2.
In 2020, the Center for Learning Materials and Technology Transfer at 128 Xuan Thuy Street is located in an area of 1,258 m2. The parking areas have been gradually rebuilt together with the beautiful natural landscape, internal roads, and sanitation facilities.
By 2021, Hanoi National University of Education has six lecture halls with approximately 200 classrooms, most of which have been equipped with modern equipment and facilities such as sound systems, projectors, air conditioners, etc. The system of laboratories for research and training has been upgraded with 29 specialized laboratories (including four key specialized laboratories), 29 basic laboratories, 38 practical workshops, 15 computer rooms, and one experimental garden.
Moreover, the University Information and Library Center is equipped with more than 100,000 documents with nearly 400,000 copies, many of which have been digitized.
Student dormitory continues to be upgraded with the construction and put into use of building A10, building A11 (in 2003), renovated buildings A6, A8, and A9 (in 2008). In 2018, the construction of the 12-story building A12 within the dormitory area was completed after 8 years and put into service for students with appropriate facilities.
