Office for Science and Technology Management
Office for Science and Technology Management supports the University’s mission through efforts to enhance academic research and research capacity, broadly enabling stellar research advances.
Our functions
The Office takes in charge of building a long-term strategy, an annual development plan of science and technology as well as research policies of HNUE. Its main functions are to manage research affairs, HNUE’s academic journals and research/teaching/study equipment, provide research administrative services, and strengthen as well as broaden scientific cooperation, intellectual exchange with other national and international universities/organizations, thereby creating an outstanding climate of support for HNUE’s researchers and a professional working environment in accordance with international standards. In detail, the Office manages, organizes and conducts conference, workshops, seminars, public lectures, research projects, research groups/centers, and three academic journals of the University. It has also a duty to give strategic advice, support and train assisting HNUE’s lecturers and researchers in developing competitive funding applications and local as well as international research collaborations, and in progressing their research careers. Besides, the Office manages major experimental facilities, research equipment and other resources accessible to students and staff of HNUE.
As a result of doing the above-mentioned functions, The Office for Scientific and Technology Management plays a vital role in promoting the position of HNUE among Vietnamese and worldwide universities.
