Attending the program was Ms. Nguyen Thu Huong, Director of the Vietnam Education Promotion Fund. Representing Hanoi National University of Education were: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Lan Hung Son – Acting Head of the Office of Political Work and Student Affairs; Dr. Tran Ba Trinh – Head of the Academic Affairs Office; Dr. Pham Thi Thanh Thuy – Secretary of the University’s Youth Union; Dr. Dinh Hoang Duong – President of the University’s Student Association, Deputy Secretary of the Youth Union; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Minh Nguyet – President of the School of Educational Sciences; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Van Hien – Vice President of the School of Mathematics and Computer Science; Dr. Ho Cong Luu – Vice Head of the Office of Political Work and Student Affairs; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ngo Ngoc Hoa – Vice Dean of the Faculty of Physics.

To support and encourage students facing difficult circumstances who demonstrate strong will in their studies and personal development, VNHELP and the Vietnam Education Promotion Fund award 10 Nguyen Truong To scholarships to HNUE students annually. This is a regular scholarship program for students at universities and colleges nationwide. This source of funding will continue for students in subsequent academic years if they maintain academic excellence and good conduct. This marks the 16th year the Fund has awarded scholarships to the university's students. This year, 8 returning students from 7 faculties received the scholarship: Mathematics and Informatics, Physics, Early Childhood Education, History, Social Work, Philology, and Psychology and Pedagogy. Additionally, 2 first-year students from the Faculty of Special Education and the Faculty of National Defense Education were awarded for the first time. Each scholarship is valued at 7,500,000 VND.

Speaking at the ceremony, Ms. Nguyen Thu Huong thanked the effective coordination between the University, the Vietnam Education Promotion Fund, and the sponsor VNHELP. She shared her joy in witnessing the students' continuous efforts to overcome difficulties. Notably, some students have received this scholarship consecutively for four years. The Director encouraged students to continue striving so as not to disappoint their teachers, families, and sponsors.

On behalf of the University, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Lan Hung Son expressed deep gratitude for the concern and sharing provided by the Vietnam Education Promotion Fund and VNHELP over the past 16 years. Congratulating the 10 recipients from 9 different faculties, he expressed his hope that the students would not only use the scholarship responsibly but also strive further to develop their academic capacity and character to serve society.

Representing the recipients, Ms. Lo Thi Kim Nga, a student from Class A2-K72, Faculty of Early Childhood Education, expressed her gratitude to the donors, the Fund, and the University. She stated that for the students, the scholarship is not only precious material support but also a great spiritual motivation, reminding them of the spirit of innovation and self-study exemplified by the scholar Nguyen Truong To. She pledged on behalf of all recipients to use the scholarship for the correct purposes and continue to cultivate their skills and ideals.
