Prof. Dr. Hoang Hai Ha – Vice Head of the Office of Science and Technology Management; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Bien – Director of the Center for Research and Teacher professional development; M.A. Nguyen Anh Hong – Vice Director of the Library and Information Center; Along with representatives from the leadership, lecturers of various faculties/institutes, and research support units of the University.
In his opening remarks, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Duc Son – President, extended his profound congratulations to all doctoral candidates of the 45th intake. He emphasized: The path of a doctoral candidate is a journey that demands perseverance, resilience, and a passion for exploring knowledge. Overcoming the challenges on this path is not only a great personal achievement for each candidate but also a valuable contribution to the general development of science and education. The University consistently values and regards doctoral candidates as a high-quality research force and a core element in the institution’s scientific activities and conferences. He expressed his hope that after completion, these elite candidates would become lecturers and scientists continuing the traditions of HNUE.

Following the program, Dr. Tran Quoc Kha – Vice Head of the Office of Graduate Affairs, introduced and disseminated important statutes and regulations in doctoral training in detail. The presentation focused on requirements regarding progress, research procedures, academic result standards, scientific publications, as well as regulations on thesis evaluation and acceptance.

Also during the program, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hoang Hai Ha – Vice Head of the Office of Science and Technology Management, provided an in-depth sharing session on academic integrity, ethics councils in scientific research, and research policies for doctoral candidates. She covered regulations on research ethics, citation methods, and common errors in writing dissertations, while introducing university resources such as research funds and international cooperation programs.

Next, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Bien – Director of the Center for Research and Teacher professional development, provided guidance on research topic identification and implementation in educational sciences. He shared valuable practical experiences in building outlines, data collection and processing, and the publication of research results.

Subsequently, M.A. Nguyen Anh Hong – Vice Director of the Library and Information Center, introduced the university’s abundant academic resources, focusing on the library system, online databases, and research support software.
During the direct dialogue session, candidates raised questions regarding training procedures, research conditions, support policies, and academic integrity. These inquiries were thoroughly addressed by the University leadership before the candidates embarked on their new stage of study and research.
The meeting concluded as a solid beginning, providing momentum for the doctoral candidates to confidently start their journey at Hanoi National University of Education.
