Immediately afterward, Nguyen Hoang Khoi returned to HNUE to attend the official congratulatory ceremony organized by the University. The event took place in Meeting Room I, with the attendance of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Hien – Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the University Council, Dr. Dinh Minh Hang – Head of the President’s Office, Dr. Vu Van Tien – Principal of the HNUE High School for Gifted Students, MSc. Quach Pham Thuy Trang and MSc. Pham Minh Phuong – Vice Principals of the HNUE High School for Gifted Students, along with specialized teachers, Khoi’s family, and friends.
Speaking at the event, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Hien emphasized: “Today's achievement is the pride of an entire community – family, school, and the education sector as a whole. Behind this medal are countless efforts, sweat, dedication, and silent sacrifices. Dr. Vu Van Tien, Principal of the HNUE High School for Gifted Students, expressed his joy and firm belief in the emerging generation of students trained at the School. He shared: “The Gold Medal is the result of persistent companionship between teachers and students. This achievement is not only a source of pride for our High School but also a testament to the depth and effectiveness of our collaborative model between specialized high schools and teacher training universities.”

During the ceremony, Nguyen Hoang Khoi expressed his deep gratitude and emotions: “I feel extremely honored to represent Vietnam at the International Chemistry Olympiad. I sincerely thank the host country for their warm hospitality and my teachers for their unwavering guidance and inspiration throughout the training process. This medal is the result of the trust placed in me by my family, friends, and teachers – I’m simply the one bringing it home.” He also shared memorable moments from the competition: “The most nerve-wracking moment was when the organizers announced all the silver medalists over nearly an hour. When we realized that all four team members had won silver or higher, we and our teachers were overwhelmed with joy.”
