Speaking at the ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Duc Son – President of HNUE, affirmed that the University consistently identifies general education and basic sciences as two vital pillars in its development strategy. The coordination to organize the Mathematics and Natural Science Olympiads is expected to spread a passion for science among high school students, create a healthy academic environment, encourage creative thinking, and nurture scientific human resources for the future. The competition is oriented to become a widely influential activity, providing opportunities for diverse groups of students to participate, demonstrate their capacities, and cultivate a love for mathematics and natural sciences.

Dr. Do Duy Phi – President of the Chemical Society of Vietnam, highly appreciated HNUE's initiative to coordinate the Natural Science and Mathematics Olympiads. He emphasized the role of Olympiads in early discovering and fostering scientific talent. According to him, the practical experience of organizing previous Olympiads shows that such academic playgrounds have great resonance, contributing to inspiring learning interests, career orientation, and attracting students to basic science disciplines. The Chemical Society of Vietnam will actively accompany and provide professional support to ensure the competition is organized systematically, gradually enhancing its prestige and academic value in the coming years.

Representing the Vietnam Association of Biological Sciences, Dr. Dieu Thi Mai Hoa expressed confidence in the effectiveness of the cooperation model between the University and scientific associations in organizing national-scale academic activities. She noted that based on the experience of implementing Biology Olympiads for students, building a high-quality competition recognized by society requires close coordination between training units and professional organizations. The Vietnam Association of Biological Sciences is ready to accompany HNUE in organizational and professional tasks, as well as academic networking, contributing to the common goal of discovering and developing a science-loving generation of students.

According to the plan, the Mathematics and Natural Science Olympiads are expected to be launched next year, targeting a wide range of high school students and allowing them to choose subjects suited to their abilities and strengths. The competition is designed not only to focus on results but also to uphold educational values, encouraging students to apply knowledge to reality and develop sustainable scientific thinking.
The signing ceremony took place solemnly in the presence of delegates, marking a long-term commitment between Hanoi National University of Education and scientific associations in organizing the competition and implementing academic activities for students.
