Signing Ceremony of Memorandum of Understanding between Hanoi National University of Education and Global Vision International, Korea

On July 3, 2025, Hanoi National University of Education solemnly held the Signing Ceremony of Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Global Vision International (GVI), Korea. The event contributed to promoting the international cooperation of the university, aiming to improve the quality of education in areas with limited conditions.

Attending the meeting, on behalf of Global Vision International, there were Mr. Lee Ki Hyun – Chairman and Mr. Chang Jae Yun – Vice Chairman. On behalf of Hanoi National University of Education, there were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Trao – Vice President, Dr. Dinh Minh Hang – Head of the President’s Office, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Bien – Director of the Center for Research and Teacher Professional Development, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vu Thi Mai Huong – Deputy Director of the Center for Research and Teacher Professional Development.

In his opening speech, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Trao - Vice President of Hanoi National University of Education emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation between domestic and foreign educational institutions towards fair and sustainable educational development. He expressed his hope that the cooperation between Hanoi National University of Education and Global Vision International would not only stop at signing but would develop into specific, practical and long-term action programs.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Lee Ki Hyun – Chairman of Global Vision International highly appreciated the prestige, professional capacity and sense of responsibility of Hanoi National University of Education in the field of education and teacher training. He affirmed his desire to accompany the university for a long time in initiatives to support Vietnamese education, towards sustainable and humane development.

According to the content of the signed Memorandum of Understanding, the two sides will jointly propose and implement “the Project for the enhancement of academic achievement of disadvantaged secondary school students living in the mountainous area of Tuyen Quang Province (2026-2028)”. The project will focus on the following contents: training teachers of key subjects (Math, Vietnamese, English, IT), enhancing school counseling, supporting students through academic counseling - career guidance programs, and organizing activities with parents to raise awareness of family education.

The signing ceremony ended in a solemn, friendly and trusting atmosphere. The two sides signed the Memorandum of Understanding, exchanged souvenirs and took photos to mark the important moment opening a new phase of cooperation.
