Attending and directing the Congress were Comrade Nguyen Ngoc An - Executive Committee of the Ministry of Education and Training's Party Committee, the Presidium of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, President of the Vietnam Education Union; Comrade Vu Thi Thuy Ha - the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Education Union, Deputy Head of the Labor Relations Department; representatives of the University's Party Committee, the University's leadership, and 148 official delegates representing over one thousand union members of Hanoi National University of Education.

During the past term, the Trade Union of Hanoi National University of Education affirmed its core role in caring for the material and spiritual lives of officials, educators, and employees; building a friendly, harmonious, and stable working environment; focusing on propagation and education; professional and vocational development; implementing many practical activities, strongly spreading the humanistic spirit of the key pedagogical university.

On behalf of the 18th Executive Committee of the University's Trade Union, Comrade Cao Tuan Anh - President of the University's Trade Union, reported a summary of the Trade Union's activities with overall results achieved in the 2023 – 2025 period; emphasized 08 key task groups for the 2025 – 2030 term, including: continuing to innovate propaganda and education work; effectively organizing patriotic emulation movements, building a strong trade union organization; improving the effectiveness of women's affairs work; strengthening inspection and supervision; transparent financial management; expanding external relations, exchanges, study, and experience sharing; caring for, representing, and protecting the legitimate and rightful rights and interests of employees.

In his directive speech at the Congress, Comrade Nguyen Ngoc An affirmed: "The trade union organization is an indispensable entity in an organization that performs democratic functions, establishing a harmonious and stable labor relationship - an important factor determining sustainable development and positioning, maintaining the promotion of the University's brand and value. The profound concern, understanding, and sharing of the University's leadership, the consensus and wholehearted dedication of the Executive Committee, the close coordination of the Executive Board, and the support of all union members and employees; have created a Trade Union of Hanoi National University of Education that operates creatively and effectively, fulfilling the functions of a higher education grassroots trade union within the system of trade unions of educational institutions under the Vietnam Education Union."

Comrade Nguyen Duc Son - President of the University expressed the leadership's gratitude to the Vietnam Education Union for accurately grasping the situation and providing close guidance for the activities of the Trade Union of Hanoi National University of Education; thanked the 18th Executive Committee of the University's Trade Union and all officials, educators, and employees for contributing to the overall performance achievements of the University. The comrade hoped that the University's Trade Union and officials, educators, and employees would continue to accompany the University in building a united, friendly, and professional working environment to effectively implement the University's key tasks.

The Congress unanimously agreed on the goals entering the 2025 – 2030 term, which are: Innovating content and improving the effectiveness of trade union activities in the new context and digital transformation, promoting the role of the trade union in building a democratic, dynamic, and creative learning and working environment; effectively performing the task of caring for, representing, and protecting the legitimate and rightful rights and interests of union members and employees; building a lean, efficient, and competent trade union cadre force; participating in building a contingent of officials, educators, and employees meeting task requirements, building Hanoi National University of Education to develop strongly, actively contributing to the fundamental and comprehensive renovation of education and training and the country's international integration in the new era.

The Congress elected the 2025 – 2030 Executive Committee of the Trade Union of Hanoi National University of Education consisting of 13 comrades. Simultaneously, the Congress elected a delegation of representatives from the University's Trade Union to attend the 19th Congress of the Vietnam Education Union for the 2025 – 2030 term, demonstrating trust and expectations for the University's pioneering role in the Vietnamese education system.

Also at the Congress, the University's Trade Union launched a program to support people in storm and flood-affected provinces, calling for voluntary contributions from officials, educators, and employees across the University. The activity demonstrates the spirit of sharing "the intact leaf shelters the torn leaf," spreading the humanistic values of Hanoi National University of Education.

The 19th Congress of the Trade Union of Hanoi National University of Education concluded successfully, opening a new term full of confidence, momentum, and aspiration to contribute, helping to build a model training environment for the Vietnamese education sector. The University's Trade Union promotes innovation in operational methods, builds a strong trade union organization, centers on employees, fosters the construction of a happy, knowledge-rich, and creative educational environment, contributing to implementing the University's development strategy in the new phase.
