From Hanoi National University of Education, there were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kieu Van Hoan – Vice President of HNUE; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Lan Hung Son – Dean of the Faculty of Biology; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Duc Hau and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Thi Thanh Huyen – Vice Deans, along with faculty members from the Biology Department.

In the opening speech, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kieu Van Hoan expressed pride in the students’ perseverance and dedication throughout their training at HNUE. He emphasized that each international Olympiad is an opportunity for Vietnamese intelligence to shine on the global academic stage. The students’ success represents the synergy between secondary education and university-level research environments. HNUE stands ready to continue accompanying and supporting the sustainable development of national education.

Prof. Dr. Nguyễn Ngọc Hà extended congratulations to the students who had undergone rigorous selection and intensive training to proudly represent Vietnam at the international arena. Their achievements are a source of pride not only for themselves and their families but also for the broader educational community. He expressed confidence in their competence, integrity, and creativity, and hoped they would embody the positive image of Vietnamese students on the world stage.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Thi Phuong Hoa, Deputy Head of the Vietnamese IBO 2025 delegation, presented a report on the team’s training program. She detailed the comprehensive and intensive preparation process, which included both advanced theoretical knowledge and practical laboratory skills. The training also focused on fostering analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and independent research capabilities. Special attention was given to the students’ psychological readiness and physical well-being to ensure they are fully prepared for international competition. She expressed belief that, with dedicated guidance and relentless student effort, the team will uphold Vietnam’s strong tradition in the IBO and achieve excellent results this year.

Representing the student team, Le Hoang Kieu Anh from Hanoi – Amsterdam High School for the Gifted shared her gratitude to the teachers, parents, and institutions who had supported their journey. She affirmed that the entire team would enter the competition with the highest sense of responsibility and determination to showcase the talent and intellect of Vietnamese youth.
