The Vietnamese Student’s Association is a political and social organization of Vietnamese students. Through the revolutionary periods to the historical periods, the Association has gathered a great number of students, young intellectuals, promoted the patriotic traditions, national pride. With other youth organizations, the Association has praiseworthy contributions to the country’s liberation, reunion, national construction and defense.

Entering the period of national industrialization and modernization, the Student’s Association continues to promote the tradition of creativity and volunteering spirit of Vietnamese students for a democratic, civilized, socialist country and for the happiness and progress of youth. The Association operates within the framework of the Constitution and laws of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the management of the State and the political role of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union. The Association is a member of the Vietnam Youth Union and the International Student’s Association. Immersing into the common achievements of the whole country, the Students’ Association of Hanoi National University of Education is obtaining many achievements, contributing to improving the quality of the organization of the Students' Association. In addition, the Association has also aroused intellect, enthusiasm and students' strength, fostering the ideal of the Revolution, and creating the position of Vietnamese students in the period of integration and development.

Hanoi National University of Education has more than 10,000 students, belonging to 23 student association branches. In general, the students in the school are always aware of learning and working, overcoming difficulties and efforts to achieve, fulfilling the tasks of the future intellectuals, and being attentive to the slogan "Students of Hanoi National University of Education - Wisdom - Bravery - Creativity - Integration".

The Student’s Association is a reliable friend of students, a forum, an environment, a shared home for students to exchange, learn, self-foster and help each other in learning and training. Therefore, the Student’s Association has always determined the leading task is, together with the Youth Union organization, to foster the idea of socialist students, to cultivate student’s dreams and beautiful ambitions; thereby helping students identify and achieve the right motivations, attitudes, methods in learning and image building for students of Hanoi National University of Education. In addition, the Student’s Association has cooperated well with Hanoi National University of Education, the Department of Political and Students Affairs to implement the Party and State's Resolutions and policies, guidelines and regulations of the Ministry of Education.

Regarding organizational structure, the Student’s Association has the Executive Committee of the Students' Union. Followed by 23 Student Associations of faculties, institutes and specialized sub-committees (such as Organizing Committee, Arts Sub-Committee,...), Clubs (including hobby clubs, academic clubs ... specifically like English Club, Teacher Club, Martial Arts Club, Guitar Club, Art Club ...)

Through the process of participating in the Student’s Association - the organization dedicated to the students, students have opportunities to learn and train themselves to be more mature in all aspects of life, especially soft skills which our students are yet to be good at. Moreover, students can join many activities such as martial arts, music, sports, and most of all, organize their own programs, events, and work shared by the whole school. Students will be the leading force in the voluntary campaigns for the community.

Through the student movements, the sense of responsibility to the community, the spirit of mutual support, affection, the role of creative ambition of youth is clearly reflected, contributing an important part to the student movement of Hanoi city, because of the prosperous country, affirming the role and position of the students of Hanoi National University of Education, creating the image of Vietnamese students in a new era with ambition and idealism, and responsibility for society and the country.
