To achieve excellent achievements in the National Exam for Selecting Excellent Students in High schools for the 2023 - 2024 school year, teachers and students of High School for Gifted Students - Hanoi National University of Education always receive the attention and direction of the Party Committee at all levels. The party, government, and Board of Directors of Hanoi National University of Education go along with the enthusiasm in training and fostering of teachers and the tireless efforts of students.

At the beginning of the 2023-2024 school year, inheriting activities from the previous school year, teams recruiting excellent students in grades 11 and 12 continue to implement study and review plans to build a system of background knowledge for each student. Students applying for grade 12 teams will review their knowledge systems and practice practical problem-solving skills. As a result, the students of the 12th and 11th-grade selection teams all have solid knowledge and skills to enter the exam to select teams in early October 2023.

After the selection exam, 8 teams were established including the Math, Information, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Literature, English, and Geography team with a total of 78 students. On October 21, 2023, High School for Gifted Students - Hanoi National University of Education solemnly organized the meeting program for students of teams participating in the National Exam for Selecting Excellent Students in High Schools for the 2023-2024 school year. The program attracted the attention of a large number of parents, teachers, and many organizations and individuals who participated in supporting teams such as BIDV bank, people interested in education, representatives of student parents...

The launching ceremony of the 2023 National Exam for Selecting Excellent Students in High Schools organized by Hanoi National University of Education took place on December 28, 2023, ending the training journey of the teams and the students officially entered the competition the National Exam for Selecting Excellent students in High schools for the 2023-2024 school year on January 5 and 6, 2024. During the Opening Ceremony, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Minh – President of the University kindly advised the candidates to stay calm, stay healthy, do not create pressure to enter the exam with the most comfortable spirit. The results of the exam also contribute to fostering the teaching and learning tradition of teachers and students at the High School for Gifted Students - Hanoi National University of Education.
