Ha Noi National University of Education's branch in Ha Nam province was established under Decision No. 5744 / QD - MoET & December 25, 2017 of the Minister of Education and Training on the establishment of Ha Noi National University of Education branch in Ha Nam province on the basis of merging Ha Nam Teacher Training College into Hanoi National University of Education.
In terms of organizational structure, currently the Branch has a management board, which is the Board of Directors, its subordinate units including 3 functional departments: Organizing Committee - Administration, Training Department - Training and student-related affairs, Finance Department - Administration; 1 department of junior high school education training university level students; Nguyen Tat Thanh Primary School and Nguyen Tat Thanh Junior High School & High School.
The branch has 73 staff members including teaching staff and office workers. Out of the teaching staff, 1 senior lecturer is Associate Professor, 03 lecturers at PhD level, 02 lecturers PhD candidates, 56 lecturers Masters of Arts and 02 lecturers studying for a master degree.
As regards education and training, Ha Nam Branch is taking over the job of training more than 1400 of the full-time third and second year college students who major in Primary Education, Early Childhood Education, Philology, Mathematics and English.
In addition to the takeover of the job of training college students, the School Branch is continuing to complete procedures and required conditions towards establishing a training branch for junior high school students for enrollment of the academic year 2019 - 2020.
As far as general education is concerned, Nguyen Tat Thanh schools currently operate under the model of high-quality practice school in association with promoting the capacity of learners through learning according to a prescribed curriculum plus diverse activities. Nguyen Tat Thanh schools trains students from elementary school to high school level. Currently, Primary School has 4 grade-1 classes, junior high school 3 grade-6 classes and high school 2 grade-10 classes.
