Closing Ceremony of the 2025 Football and Volleyball Tournaments

Amid the vibrant atmosphere of cultural and sports competitions celebrating the 74th anniversary of the founding of Hanoi National University of Education (October 11, 1951 – October 11, 2025) and the 43rd Vietnamese Teachers' Day (November 20, 1982 – November 20, 2025), Hanoi National University of Education solemnly held the Closing Ceremony of the 2025 Football and Volleyball Tournaments on November 15, 2025.

This year's tournaments attracted the participation of 20 men's football teams, 23 women's football teams, 20 men's volleyball teams, and 22 women's volleyball teams from faculties, units, and affiliated schools across the university. After over a month of competition with 175 matches across all four categories, the tournaments achieved brilliant success in every aspect. More than 1,000 athletes competed wholeheartedly with a spirit of unity, honesty, and sportsmanship; the organization was meticulously prepared, and refereeing was conducted seriously; the venues met standards, and especially, the enthusiastic cheers from thousands of supporters created an exciting and emotionally charged sports atmosphere.

On November 8, 2025, the volleyball finals took place with extreme drama and excitement. In the women's category, the match between the Faculty of English and the Faculty of Literature delivered spectacular plays and a thrilling score chase, with the Faculty of Literature brilliantly claiming the championship. In the men's category, the match between the Faculty of Geography and the Faculty of Information Technology drew significant audience attention, and with superior performance, the Faculty of Information Technology secured the championship cup for this season.

Continuing this momentum, on the morning of November 15, 2025, the football finals were held at the Hanoi National University of Education Stadium, alongside the Closing and Summary Ceremony of the 2025 Traditional Football and Volleyball Tournaments. The ceremony was honorably attended by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kieu Van Hoan – Vice President of the University; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Lan Hung Son - Acting Head, The Student Affairs Office; Dr. Dinh Minh Hang – Head of the President’s Office; Dr. Do Xuan Duyet – Dean of the Faculty of Physical Education, along with representatives of unit leaders, team managers, athletes, and a large number of supporters.

The women's football final between the Faculty of History and the Faculty of Engineering and Technology delivered high emotions with a fast-paced game and strong determination. Ultimately, the Faculty of Engineering and Technology excellently claimed the championship title. In the men's football category, the match between the Faculty of Chemistry and the Faculty of Geography was equally dramatic, and in the end, the Faculty of Geography secured a convincing victory to crown the 2025 season.

Immediately after the matches concluded, the Organizing Committee held the Closing Ceremony and awarded prizes to the high-achieving teams, as well as honored the most outstanding players in each category.

  • Second Prize: Faculty of English

  • Third Prize: Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics & The Faculty of Politics - Civic Education

  • Most Outstanding Player: Luong Thi Hong – Faculty of Literature

  • Second Prize: Faculty of Chemistry

  • Third Prize: Faculty of Philosophy & Faculty of Engineering and Technology
