Representing the Chinese Embassy in Vietnam were Mr. La Dieu Quang – Educational Counselor, and Mr. Vuong Dinh Quan – First Secretary.
Representing Hanoi National University of Education were: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Duc Son – President; Dr. Dinh Minh Hang – Head of the President’s Office; Dr. Tran Ba Trinh – Head of the Academic Affairs Office; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Lan Hung Son – Acting Head of the Office of Political Work and Student Affairs; and Dr. Ngo Thi Khanh Chi – Dean of the Faculty of Chinese Language and Culture.
At the beginning of the session, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Duc Son – President of Hanoi National University of Education, expressed his deep gratitude to the Chinese Embassy for their practical support during the establishment and development of the major, contributing significantly to the extensive cooperative relationship between the two sides. Simultaneously, President Nguyen Duc Son provided an overview of the formation and development of the Faculty of Chinese Language and Culture. With a steady annual increase in student numbers and an affirming quality of training, the faculty has rapidly become a dynamic training unit that attracts significant interest from learners. In addition to training activities, HNUE is currently one of the units organizing HSK examinations to meet the needs of students and learners nationwide.

Representing the Chinese Embassy in Vietnam, Mr. La Dieu Quang – Educational Counselor, highly appreciated the strong development and modern orientation of HNUE. He emphasized the importance of Resolution 71 in promoting innovation in education and training in Vietnam. This is an especially meaningful time, creating a favorable foundation for strengthening academic and cultural exchanges as well as training cooperation between the two sides.

Within the framework of the discussion, both parties deliberated on several important contents, such as: expanding student exchange programs, increasing scholarships for students, cooperating in organizing Chinese language proficiency exams, coordinating the training of high-quality Chinese language teachers, and implementing joint research projects in the fields of educational science and AI applications.
The working session took place in an open and effective atmosphere, demonstrating the determination of both sides to promote strategic and sustainable cooperation. The results achieved promise to open many new development opportunities, contributing to the training of high-quality human resources and tightening the friendship between Vietnam and China.
