In his opening speech, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Duc Son – President of HNUE, expressed his delight at the enthusiastic participation of teams from across the country. The university aims to be a place where students can showcase their abilities, overcome their limits, and grow. STEM is not merely interdisciplinary integrated education; it also helps students develop problem-solving mindsets, creativity, and integration skills in the new era.

2025 marks the inaugural year of the HNUE Olympic STEM, yet the competition has immediately made a significant impact, attracting nearly 1,500 teams—approximately 4,500 students—from 21 Departments of Education and Training nationwide. The semi-final round was conducted under the evaluation of Judging Councils for each educational level, comprising prestigious scientists and lecturers from Hanoi National University of Education.
The “HNUE – Olympic STEM 2025” competition was organized to create an academic, creative, and experiential playground for K-12 students across the country. With the theme “Shaping a Green Future,” the 2025 competition has contributed to raising environmental awareness and promoting green innovation, while fostering scientific thinking, social responsibility, and sustainable development capabilities among students.
