FACULTY’s INTRODUCTION
Established in October 1951, Faculty of History is one of the oldest faculties of Hanoi National University of Education.
The Faculty has experienced over 65 years in offering high quality post-graduate and undergraduate. Over 1.000 post-graduate and 10,000 undergraduate students have studied from the Faculty.
About academic staff, there are 2 full Professors, 9 Associate Professors, 16 Doctors, 6 Masters working for the Faculty at the moment. Most of them hold a Doctorate from Russia, the UK, France, China, Italy, etc. Alongside, there are 5 Lectures studying Doctoral degrees abroad now (e.g. the US, France, Germany, Australia).
To serve the demand of learners on studying and researching, the Library of Faculty provides special collections of thousand materials on history including books, academic journals, dissertations, etc.
The Faculty also has student-guilds led by communist Youth Union and Student Association as Guild of Student Research, Guild of Pedagogic Skills Training.
