On April 17, 2024, a seminar with the themes "Teaching Natural Science and Training Natural Science Teachers" and "Supporting English Learners through Art-Centered Integrated STEM Learning" took place at the Center for Science and Pedagogical Profession - Hanoi National University of Education (HNUE). The main speaker of the seminar was Professor Alandeom Oliveira from the State University of New York. Professor Alandeom Oliveira is an expert in educational science at the State University of New York in Albany, specializing in STEM education, researching the professional development of teachers, instructional content for English language learners integrating content-language, learning based on requirements, and developing teachers in student learning through various forms of discourse.
The seminar received the attention of the Party Committee and the Board of Directors of Hanoi National University of Education, as well as faculty members of the teaching methods department, researchers, and undergraduate students in the K system at the university.
Representing Hanoi National University of Education, the Party Secretary and Chairman of the University Council, Associate Professor Nguyen Van Hien, presented souvenirs and gratitude to Professor Alandeom Oliveira for sharing valuable knowledge and experience at the seminar.
