This is the third international scientific conference held since 2019 to create an international forum to share perceptions and perspectives on updated issues in the theory and practice of science education development as well as building an international brand of "educational science" of Hanoi National University of Education. Opening the Conference, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Hien (Party Secretary, Vice President of Hanoi National University of Education) shared, in the era of Industrial Revolution 4.0, digital transformation in education as well as forecasting prospects for future; innovation in school organization and administration models as well as in content, teaching methods, and assessment of subjects (at all levels); innovating the training and fostering of teachers to meet the context of digital transformation. The workshop contributes to the goal of the 2030 Agenda of ensuring quality, equitable, inclusive education and promoting lifelong learning opportunities for all.

The presentations presented entirely in English at the conference focused on discussing a number of issues as follows:

- Perceptions and perspectives on digital transformation in education around the world;

- Trends, opportunities, challenges and solutions for educational innovation in the digital era: content, modern teaching methods and techniques; capacity of students and teachers; digital transformation skills, digital competencies and digital pedagogical competencies;

- Smart education, smart schools, educational technology;

- Modern schools in digital transformation and the goal of training Global Citizens: building school programs to develop student capacities; educational coordination between family, school, and society; international, intercultural, and interdisciplinary nature in teaching; building schools for sustainable development;

- Educational management and teacher development policy from the perspective of digital transformation;

- Digital transformation in applied psychology (Clinical psychology, school psychology...);

- STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) education from preschool to high school;

- Prospects of digital transformation in education.

Participating in the conference were many experts and scholars from major universities in the world such as Prof. Dr. Timothy Teo (h-index 32, Deputy Head of the Department of Psychology education, Chinese University of Hong Kong); Prof. Dr. Chun Yen Chang (Director of Educational Science center, National Taiwan Normal University, h-index: 23); Assoc. Prof. Dr. Shit Fun Chew (Vice Dean of Faculty of Natural Sciences, National Institute of Education NIES, Singapore, h-index: 45), Prof. Dr. Samia Khan (Former Vice- Principal of School of Education, University of Dundee, h- index 18); Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tony Loughland (Dean of Faculty of Education, University of New South Wales, h-index 16); Dr. Wayne Bailey (Principal of the School of Education & Development, University of Huddersfield h-index 6); Dr. Jan Sprinob (Coordinator of the Higher Education Internationalization Project, University of Cologne).... The conference gathered nearly 300 scientists from 11 countries including England, Belgium, Cambodia, Colombia, Germany, Japan, USA, Singapore, China, Thailand, Australia, Vietnam... Also attending the conference were leaders of many pedagogical schools, or with pedagogical training such as Hanoi Capital University, Hanoi University of Pedagogy 2, Thai Nguyen University of Education, Ho Chi Minh City University of Education, Hai Phong University, Tay Bac University...

7 reports at the whole session came from the University of New South Wales (Australia), University of Huddersfield (UK), Hanoi National University of Education, University of British Colombia (Canada), University of Cologne (Germany), Chinese University Hong Kong (China)... has exploited many different aspects of digital transformation in education since the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic and sees this as an important push for major change in global education. Scholars also discussed the role of AI in high school and university education, and the challenges and opportunities that need to be grasped from the application of AI. Digital transformation in education also poses many new tasks for teacher training and fostering as well as modernizing the model, methods, and operational content of teacher training schools.

More than 30 reports by researchers from 11 countries were also actively discussed in parallel sessions within the framework of the conference, providing diverse perspectives and approaches to digital transformation in education, applying information technology and AI in teaching and learning in many developed and developing countries. The opinions exchanged at the Conference also provided scientific and practical arguments that contribute to promoting the current comprehensive reform of Vietnamese education.

The ILITE international scientific conference is an effort to gather and connect domestic and foreign scholars to join hands to contribute to the implementation of the Millennium goals on education, sustainable development, and global cooperation for the development of humanity. Dr. Wayne Bailey (Principal of the School of Education, University of Huddersfield) and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tony Loughland (Dean of the Faculty of Education, University of New South Wales) agreed that the Conference is an opportunity to strengthen cooperation relationships between British, Australian, and Vietnamese universities in the field of teacher training. The success of the Conference also proves the position of Hanoi National University of Education in Vietnamese and regional education. The conference also received facilitation from the Ministry of Education and Training and relevant agencies.
