Our history: The Faculty of English was established on the 1st of July, 2004, based on its precursor - The Faculty of Foreign Languages.
Our position: The Faculty has established its firm reputation for English Language Teacher Education and English Linguistics in Vietnam.
Our divisions: The Faculty consists of 05 divisions, namely the Division of English Language Proficiency Development, the Division of English Language Teaching Methodology, the Division of English Linguistics, the Division of Anglo-American Civilization and Culture Studies, and the Division of English for Specific Purposes.
Our staff members: Total academic staff: 49, including 01 Associate Professor, 05 Doctors, 43 Masters.
Our mission: The Faculty offers the Master of English Language Teacher Education, the Bachelor of English Language Teacher Education, the Bachelor of English Linguistics, Second degree in English Language Teacher Education, English units in all postgraduate and undergraduate courses at HNUE, English skill development and teaching methodology courses for school teachers at all levels.
