SIGNING CEREMONY OF A MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN HANOI NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF EDUCATION AND JAPANESE INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL OF HANOI

On April 18, 2024, Hanoi National University of Education (HNUE) signed a memorandum of understanding with the Japanese International School (JIS) on education cooperation and linkage.

 

On the side of Hanoi National University of Education, there was Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Duc Son - Vice President of Hanoi National University of Education; Dr. Dinh Minh Hang - Head of the President’s Office; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Bien, Director of the Center for Research and Teacher Professional Development, Dr. Luu Thi Kim Nhung, Director of the Center for Development Education and Digital Technology (EDC), Mr. Bui Duc Nam, Head of the Financial Planning Office. On the side of the Japanese International School (JIS), there was Mr. Yamamoto Noriyuki, Principal of the School; Mr. Philip James Macdonald Milner, Director of the International Cambridge program; Mr. Nguyen Manh Cuong, Director of the Linkage Program; Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Thuy, Head of Admissions and Student Management; together with the translators.

Statement at the Signing Ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Duc Son - Vice President of Hanoi National University of Education, expressed gratitude for the goodwill and reception from the Japanese International School, emphasizing the similarities in educational perspectives between the two parties in developing cooperative relations. Accordingly, the cooperation between the two sides aims at student internships, exchanges, recruitment, training and development programs for faculty and lecturers, and various other activities.

Representing the JIS, Mr. Yamamoto Noriyuki - Principal of the Japanese International School, expressed joy and expectations for specific and effective cooperation agreements. He also introduced the fundamental aspects and prominent characteristics, as well as the mission of the Japanese International High School, and proposed areas of collaboration with Hanoi National University of Education soon.

The signing ceremony was successfully conducted with high agreement from both parties, preparing for a promising collaboration expected to bring about many successes and contribute to long-term and sustainable development, enhancing the quality of education, training, and scientific research of both institutions.
