PROGRAM ACCOMPANYING STUDENTS IN DISADVANTAGED AREAS OF HANOI NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF EDUCATION

With the view that investing in education is investing in the development and promotion of the spirit of "caring and sharing", on the occasion of the 74th Anniversary of the Vietnamese Students Traditional Day (09/01/1950 – 09/01/2024), Hanoi National University of Education organized a companion program for students in disadvantaged areas on the evening of January 12, 2024 at Hall 11/10.

There was presence of: Mr. Bui Tuan Anh - Chairman of Cau Giay District People's Committee, Ms. Trinh Thi Dung - Vice Chairman of Cau Giay District People's Committee, along with leaders of universities, colleges, primary schools, secondary schools, high schools, press agencies, businesses, etc. attended and contributed to accompany students from disadvantaged areas of Hanoi National University of Education.

Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Minh, President of Hanoi National University of Education, shared about the motivation to spread good things: “I keep thinking, each of us can do something for those people, aiming that there are no dreams that are destroyed because of difficulties, there are no desires are buried and every person, no matter who they are, can be lifted up. That beautiful action will spread love and kindness and then sprout kindness and love.”

As a result, the contributions of organizations and individuals will support the implementation of study promotion activities through the following forms: sponsoring scholarships and awarding prizes to motivate and encourage students in remote areas with difficult circumstances, making extra efforts to progress and perfect themselves in learning and training.

In this meaningful program, Hanoi National University of Education gave the book "Sharing speeches" by Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Minh as souvenirs to organizations and individuals who participated in supporting the university's students. This small book is also a message to convey trust in teachers, encourage innovation in thinking, and preserve cultural values ​​in the university.

The program to accompany students in disadvantaged areas at Hanoi National University of Education sends a message to agencies, units, unions, businesses, philanthropists and former students with the desire to continue receive support and encouragement both materially and spiritually to join hands to contribute to education.

The program ended with many good, lasting echoes of human love. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Minh, on behalf of the university's leadership, expressed his gratitude and admiration to all of people presenting at the program, or because of objective conditions many were unable to directly attend the program, becoming companions “for a precious kindness, for sharing, for kindness, and for sowing and awakening kindness in every person.”
