At the beginning of the ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Duc Son, President of Hanoi National University of Education warmly welcomed the delegation of Daegu National University of Education and highly appreciated the significance of the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding to promote the cooperative relationship between the two universities, thereby contributing to improving the quality in the field of educational science. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Duc Son expressed his belief that the cooperation between the two universities will open up great opportunities for academic exchange and training programs, and pointed out specific contents on training, credit recognition, academic exchange, and scientific research that the two schools can coordinate to implement in the coming time.

Attending the ceremony, Prof. Sangsik BAE, President of Daegu National University of Education, expressed his pleasure at continuing to cooperate with Hanoi National University of Education. Prof. Sangsik BAE also shared some outstanding information related to Daegu National University of Education, the programs and research projects that the University has been implementing in cooperation in recent years, and proposed some specific exchange programs with the Office for Science and Technology, Faculty of Early Childhood Education, Special Education and Psychological Education of Hanoi National University of Education.

Daegu National University of Education, founded in 1956, is located in the center of Daegu city, Korea. The university is currently one of the most prestigious educational institutions in Korea. The university is in the top 20 most famous universities in Korea, ranked 14th out of 340 universities and colleges in Korea based on scale and teaching achievements. With more than 60 years of development, Daegu National University of Education is oriented to continue to develop strongly in both scale and quality of training in the coming time, especially for international students.
Based on previous exchanges on the cooperation agreement between the two universities, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Duc Son, President of Hanoi National University of Education and Prof. Sangsik BAE, President of Daegu National University of Education, signed a cooperation agreement with fields of activities such as promoting academic programs; conducting collaborative research projects; exchanging lecturers, researchers and staff; organizing international conferences and seminars and some other activities.
