On the afternoon of November 17, 2025, Hanoi National University of Education (HNUE) solemnly welcomed Comrade General Trinh Van Quyet - The Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission, who visited and extended congratulations on Vietnamese Teachers' Day 20/11.

Attending from the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission were: Comrade General Trinh Van Quyet - The Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission; Comrade Pham Tat Thang - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission; Comrade Le Huy Nam - Director of the Education Department, the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission; Comrade Nguyen Que Lam, Chief of Office, the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission; Comrade Vu Phu Dung - Chief Secretary of the Commission, the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission.

Attending from the Ministry of Education and Training were: Comrade Pham Ngoc Thuong - Permanent Deputy Secretary, Permanent Deputy Minister of Education and Training; Comrade Tran Quang Nam - Head of the Party Committee's Propaganda Department, Chief of Office of the Ministry of Education and Training; Comrade Dang Van Huan - Deputy Director of the Higher Education Department; Comrade Nguyen Huy Tung - Secretary to the Ministry's leadership.

Attending from Hanoi National University of Education were: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Hien - Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the University Council; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Duc Son - President; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Trao - Vice President; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kieu Van Hoan - Vice President; along with representatives of leaders from various units and functional departments of the University.

Beginning the meeting, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Duc Son - President of Hanoi National University of Education - presented a summary report on the formation, development, and remarkable transformations of the University over the past 74 years (11/10/1951-11/10/2025). As one of the oldest universities in the country, Hanoi National University of Education has consistently maintained its mission of training high-quality teachers and lecturers, while strongly promoting its scientific research tradition. Regarding development orientation for the coming time, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Duc Son emphasized the goal of enhancing the training of teachers capable of teaching subjects in English to meet the demand for high-quality human resources in the context of integration. Concurrently, the University is deploying breakthrough, key training programs aligned with the spirit of Resolution 71, opening new directions in long-term development strategy.

General Trinh Van Quyet - The Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission, expressed his emotion during his first visit to Hanoi National University of Education. The General affirmed the immense, immeasurable contributions of the University to the education cause and national construction. In the context of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, the General emphasized the requirement for Hanoi National University of Education to continue innovating education, promoting the application of science - technology and digital transformation to create breakthrough development. Furthermore, the General highlighted the importance of educating the young generation to be proficient in English, combined with practical experience and technological capacity for international integration and effective contribution to the nation's development. On behalf of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission, the General acknowledged the serious spirit, outstanding achievements, and high political responsibility demonstrated by Hanoi National University of Education before the Party, the People, and the Fatherland.

Concluding the meeting, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Duc Son - President of the University - respectfully extended wishes of good health to the General, while expressing the hope that the Party and State would continue to care for, accompany, and evaluate the transformation steps of Hanoi National University of Education. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Duc Son also anticipated that the University would continue to be recognized for its contributions and dedications to the nation's education cause.
