The HNUE delegation consisted of five members, led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Van Hai and Dr. Duong Quoc Van. The year 2025 marks the second time the SPhO has been officially recognized as a National Examination by the Ministry of Education and Training, and the first year to implement individual awards (granted to a maximum of 40% of the total contestants).
According to Decree No. 179/2024/ND-CP, students who win individual prizes in this competition will be considered for direct recruitment into civil servant and public official positions, providing significant opportunities and motivation for young talents.
In the final results, 100% of the HNUE team members achieved individual awards, including:
- 🥇 First Prize: Pham Duy Hoang – Class CLCK73
- 🥈 Second Prize: Tran Manh Nghia – Class CLCK75; Bui Duc Bach – Class AK75; Do Thanh Loc – Class A1K72
- 🥉 Third Prize: Nguyen Anh Huy – Class AK74
In addition to the individual prizes, the students were awarded Certificates of Merit by Mien Dong University of Technology for their outstanding performances in the multiple-choice, problem-solving, and practical examination components:
- Pham Duy Hoang: First Prize in Multiple-choice, First Prize in Practice, First Prize in Problem-solving.
- Tran Manh Nghia: First Prize in Multiple-choice, First Prize in Practice, Second Prize in Problem-solving.
- Bui Duc Bach: First Prize in Multiple-choice, First Prize in Practice, Second Prize in Problem-solving.
- DDo Thanh Loc: First Prize in Multiple-choice, First Prize in Practice, Second Prize in Problem-solving.
- Nguyen Anh Huy: First Prize in Multiple-choice, First Prize in Practice, Third Prize in Problem-solving.
This impressive achievement at SPhO 27 allows Hanoi National University of Education to maintain its position among the top universities nationwide, while affirming the institution's training quality, academic spirit, and long-standing traditions.
This success is the result of the persistent efforts of the supervising lecturers, the passion of the students, and the active support from the Faculty of Physics and the University throughout the preparation process.
