Announcement ceremony of re-appointment of the president of Hanoi National University of Education for the term 2017 - 2022

On July 10, 2017 , Hanoi University of Education held a ceremony to announce the appointment of President for the term 2017 - 2022.

The ceremony was attended by Prof. Dr Phung Xuan Nha - Member of Communist Party, Minister of Education and Training Ministry, Mr Pham Tat Thang - Deputy Chairman of the National Assembly Committee for Culture, Education Youth, Adolescents and Children, Mr Bui Quang Cam - Vice President of people’s committee of Ha Nam Province, Mr Vu Tuan Dung - Secretary of the Party Committee of Universities and Colleges in Hanoi, Prof. Dr. Sci Tran Van Nhung - Secretary General of the state council for professor title of Vietnam; representatives of ministries, central agencies and Hanoi city, representatives of Hanoi National University of Education, Academies and universities in Hanoi, representatives of Departments of Education and Training throughout country, former teachers and school secretaries (former secretary of the party committee, former president, former vice president, former president of the Union, former secretary of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union) together with all official staffs, teachers, students, undergraduate, post graduate and journalists.

At the ceremony, Prof.Dr. Phung Xuan Nha - Member of the Party Central Committee, Minister of Education and Training handed over the decision to reappoint Prof.Dr. Nguyen Van Minh as the president of the Hanoi National University of Education for the term of 2017 - 2022.

Speaking at the ceremony, Prof.Dr. Phung Xuan Nha highly appreciated the generous contributions of many generations of staffs, lecturers and students of the Hanoi National University of Education to the country's education over the past 65 years. The Minister acknowledged the efforts and wisdom of the school leaders especially the principals over periods, including Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Minh. The minister spent a lot of time discussing the responsibilities of the university and teachers for the education of our country. Accordingly, with the role and position of the "motive force" (from the Minister's use) in the system of national pedagogical schools, the Hanoi National University of Education is responsible for pioneering and creating a breakthrough in training activities, scientific research, international cooperation, raising the spirit of joining hands in the system of national pedagogical schools to education reform. On behalf of the staff of the school, Prof. Dr Nguyen Van Minh received opinions from the Minister and thanks the Communist Party of the Ministry of Education and Training, the Communist Party of the Hanoi National University of Education, especially the Minister Phung Xuan Nha for their belief and support of the appointment of him to be President of Hanoi National University of Education for the term 2017 - 2022. In his profound presentation, Prof. D.r Nguyen Van Minh expressed his determination and desire during this term. He wanted to build a solid unity of the schoolcreateate a work environment and equal opportunities in which the creativity and intellectual strengths of all the members of the school are acknowledged. Hanoi National University of Education will pioneer inthe the education of Vietnam, building a high school curriculum, training and fostering qualified teachers in accordance with the requirements of renovation, innovate university governance to make the best changes to the school and to the education of the country. He commited himself to serving education, creating true values of a teacher, training professional a team of staffs, educating generations of bright students and creating an environment for creativity.
