Hanoi National University of Education held a meeting with Aichi University of Education, Japan

Hanoi National University of Education and Aichi University of Education, Japan have maintained a sustainable cooperative relationship over the years, opening up many opportunities for academic exchange, cultural exchange and enhancing mutual understanding between the two countries. This relationship is demonstrated through annual exchanges of lecturers, students, and short-term scholarship programs for students of Hanoi National University of Education.

On February 28, 2025, Hanoi National University of Education was honored to welcome a delegation of lecturers and students of Aichi University of Education to visit and work at the school.

At the meeting, Dr. Dinh Minh Hang, Head of the President’s Office, and Dr. Ngo Vu Thu Hang, Principal of Nguyen Tat Thanh Primary School, had direct discussions with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yoshito Haba and students from Aichi University of Education. Dr. Dinh Minh Hang emphasized the importance of the long-term cooperative relationship between the two schools and the success of previous cooperation programs. In addition, Dr. Dinh Minh Hang also shared more about the training programs of Hanoi National University of Education, especially international cooperation activities with partners around the world, in which Japan has always been one of the important partners.

The delegation of lecturers and students of Aichi University of Education then participated in experiencing and observing English classes at Nguyen Tat Thanh Primary School under the guidance of Dr. Ngo Vu Thu Hang, Principal of the School. In the exciting learning atmosphere, students of Aichi University of Education actively participated, discussed, supported, took notes on the activities of the class and exchanged more deeply about the subject with the teachers after the class ended. This not only helped Japanese students understand more about the English teaching method in Vietnam but also expanded the opportunities for academic exchange between the two schools.

Students of Aichi University of Education also brought students of Nguyen Tat Thanh Primary School interesting experiences about Japanese culture through the activity of folding Origami - a famous traditional game of Japan. Nguyen Tat Thanh Primary School students were very excited to participate and expressed their delight in making paper shapes by themselves following the instructions of Japanese students. This activity not only helps students experience Japanese culture but also inspires their passion for creativity and logical thinking.

In the afternoon of the same day, the Aichi University of Education delegation continued to participate in the School Curriculum Development class taught by Dr. Ngo Vu Thu Hang. This class focuses on developing the curriculum at schools, providing insight into how to build and improve educational programs, thereby contributing to improving the quality of training and sharing teaching experiences.

The visit of the Aichi University of Education delegation not only brought rich academic experiences, but also demonstrated the close connection between the two schools in promoting educational and cultural cooperation.
