On behalf of Hanoi National University of Education, attending the meeting were the presence of Prof. Nguyen Van Minh - President; Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Van Hien - Vice President; Dr. Dinh Minh Hang - Head of the President’s Office, Dr. Dinh Thanh Tuyen - Bup Sen Xanh Kindergarten Board; Dr. Nguyen Manh Tuan - Vice Dean of Faculty of Early-Childhood Education, Dr. Tran Cuong - Deputy Head of Training Department and Dr. Pham Thi Ngoc Quynh - Deputy Head of the President’s Office.
At the beginning of the meeting, Prof. Nguyen Van Minh expressed the warmest greeting to all the delegates of Seitoku University coming to HNUE as well as showed enthusiasm about the cooperation between the two universities. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Minh indicated that collaboration between Vietnamese and Japanese universities is durable collaboration, particularly between HNUE and SU; it is not only cultural but also educational aspects to enhance education in Vietnam and Japan. At the meeting, he also emphasized and expected that the cooperation between HNUE and SU would open more practical activities and be more effective for the development of both universities.
On behalf of Seitoku University, Mr. KAWANAMI Hirozumi expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome of Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Minh; he also shared lots of valuable information as well as current challenges in Japanese education, especially in Early Childhood Education. Mr. KAWANAMI Hirozumi wished to have further intensive cooperation with HNUE in the field of Early Childhood Education to explore more practical methods for teaching kindergarten children. He also indicated that the MOU between Seitoku University and Hanoi National University of Education is completely promising and possible.
At the end of the meeting, HNUE and SU decided that the MOU between the two universities would be signed in October 2023.
