Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Duc Son - President of HNUE delivered a welcome speech
At the beginning of the working program, Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Duc Son warmly welcomed the Delegation from DLSU-D University to visit and work at HNUE. This activity follows a series of online seminars between the two universities regarding the establishment of a student exchange program for the academic year 2024-2025. Representatives from the Mathematics and Biology departments of both educational institutions, Assoc. Prof. Ngo Hoang Long and Assoc. Prof. Tran Duc Hau presented detailed work results regarding the number of courses, similarities/differences in the curriculum, assessment/examination methods, and the credit recognition process for students selected to participate in the exchange program between the two universities.
During the exchange session, Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Duc Son, the President of the University, expressed his confidence in the close collaboration between the two institutions. The Hanoi National University of Education supports international student exchange activities by providing favorable conditions for students and faculty to study and teach in an international environment. When selected, students from both universities will be exempt from tuition fees for the exchange semester, receive free accommodation in the dormitory, and participate in cultural and language immersion programs in the host country. These valuable experiences not only enhance their academic and language skills but also open up future employment opportunities.
Speaking at the working session, the representative from De La Salle University - Dasmariñas, Prof. Rubie Causaren, expressed sincere appreciation for the warm reception from the University. She also affirmed that DLSU-D is committed to providing the best learning environment for the students from the Hanoi University of Education and aims to facilitate faculty and staff exchange activities between the two institutions.
The working program concluded with an agreement to proceed with the necessary procedures and documentation to implement the international cooperation programs in the near future.
