MEETING BETWEEN TATUNG UNIVERSITY AND HANOI NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF EDUCATION

Today, 26th Feb 2024, Tatung University (TTU), Taiwan had a meeting with Hanoi National University of Education (HNUE); and exchanged information related to education initiatives in Vietnam and Taiwan

On behalf of TTU, there was the presence of Professor Chih-Fu Wu - Vice Rector of Tatung University; Professor Chu-Shou Yang - Head of the Electrical Engineering Department; and Dr. Kai-Chieh Lin - Head of the International Relations Office.  

On behalf of Hanoi National University of Education, attending the meeting was the presence of Associate Professor Nguyen Duc Son - Vice President of Hanoi National University of Education; Dr. Dinh Minh Hang - Head of the President's Office, Associate Professor Do Danh Bich - Dean of the Faculty of Physics; Professor Luc Huy Hoang - the Faculty of Physics; Dr. Pham Thi Ngoc Quynh - Deputy Head of the President's Office; Dr. Ngo Thi Khanh Chi - Head of the Chinese Language Department.

At the beginning of the working session, Associate Professor Nguyen Duc Son delivered a speech to the delegates from Tatung University. In his speech, Associate Professor Nguyen Duc Son emphasized that Hanoi National University of Education always values the recognition of international training programs and the training of fundamental scientific disciplines such as Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Hanoi National University of Education hopes to establish a cooperative relationship with Tatung University in the fields of scientific training, international student training, postgraduate education, scientific research, and student exchange.

On behalf of the delegation from Tatung University, Dr. Chih-Fu Wu - Vice Rector of Tatung University expressed gratitude for the warm reception from Hanoi National University of Education. Dr. Chih-Fu Wu also expressed the desire for further cooperation and development in the field of science education between the two universities. He hopes that there will be more connections between Tatung University and Hanoi National University of Education in the future.

Dr. Kai-Chieh Lin - Head of the International Relations Office, at Tatung University, also gave a brief speech about the history, training programs, and achievements that the university has attained in recent years. Tatung University, located in Zhongshan District, Taipei City, was established in 1956. Here, students receive direct instruction from excellent professors and lecturers and have opportunities for practical training in various companies to enhance both theoretical and practical knowledge. In addition to the professional teaching programs focused on science, there are also research and training programs in computer applications, such as training students in analysis, teamwork, and communication skills.

Associate Professor Nguyen Duc Son emphasized the possibility of exchange and postgraduate training in general science and specifically in the field of semiconductor technology (which is a strength of Tatung University) through scholarship programs and internships for students from Hanoi National University of Education.

After detailed discussions on the content of strategic cooperation, the two parties signed a cooperative agreement between the two universities. This marks a new step in the international student training, postgraduate education, and scientific research of both universities.
