Seminar: “The improvement of professional qualification and the increase in chances of international publication of young research on scientific journals SCI, SCIE, ISI, SCOPUS……”

To comply with guidelines of the Party Committee and university managing board in terms of improving staffs and lecturers’ quality under the age of 40, the office for Personnel Management co-operated with the office for Science and Technology to organize seminars about issues of university administration. The topic of the first seminar was “The improvement of professional qualification and the increase in chances of international publication of young research on scientific journals SCI, SCIE, ISI, SCOPUS…” held on April 14th , 2016 at Hall K, Hanoi National University of Education.

The seminar was joined by Pro.Dr. Nguyen Van Minh – the president of Hanoi National University of Education, Nguyen Van Trao – the vice president, M.A Nguyen Nhat Tan – the union chairman, M.A Phan Thanh Long – the head of office for Personnel Management, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Minh Thuy – the head of office for science and technology and over 120 staffs and lecturers. In the opening speech, the president presented about global integrated university education, the enhancement of research capability of staffs and lecturers, chance and challenge of Hanoi National University of Education and expectation of the university board to young personnels in promoting image of the university. At the seminar, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Minh Thuy (the head of office for science and technology) gave an overview of scientific publishing of HNUE over the past few years; Assoc. Prof. Dr Vu Quoc Chung (the head of office for science and technology) introduced about scientific magazines in and outside the country as well as requirements of an article in the international scientific magazines. Pro.Dr. Do Huong tra ( faculty of Physics) shared her experience in publishing an article related to education science in international scientific journals. Assoc. Prof. Dr Nguyen Thi Tho ( faculty of philosophy) share her experience in publish an article related to social science in international scientific journals.

The seminar took place in an open and energetic atmosphere among the chairman and invited guests. The discussion put an emphasis on the procedure to publish a scientific article in an international scientific journal and the methods to make use of source of data on the Internet for research purpose.
