The training program aims to equip trainees with the foundational knowledge, competencies, and qualities to effectively implement STEAM/STEM education in preschools; to understand the educational reforms in Vietnam and the requirements for educational management. It also aims to equip trainees with skills in managing educational institutions, including change management, teamwork, and planning skills. Furthermore, the program enables trainees to enhance their self-learning and research capabilities, adapt to various teaching conditions, and meet the innovation requirements of preschool education.
The opening ceremony was graced by the presence of key figures, including Mr. Khamtan Somvong - Cultural Counselor of the Lao PDR Embassy in Vietnam, representing the Lao PDR, and from HNUE, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Hien - Party Secretary and Chairman of the University Council; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kieu Van Hoan - Vice President; representatives of leaders, officials, and lecturers from departments, faculties, institutes, and centers of the University, along with all trainees who are preschool teachers and managers from Lao PDR participating in the training course. The involvement of these esteemed individuals and institutions underscores the significance of this training program.
The training for Lao preschool teachers and managers in 2024 is scheduled from September 22nd to December 23rd, 2024. It will consist of 5 modules designed to equip and train trainees with foundational knowledge, enhance their competencies and qualities to adapt to all teaching conditions and meet the innovation requirements of preschool education.
The program also contributes to training and improving the quality of human resources while fostering the special and friendly relationship between Vietnam and Laos.
Lao students and trainees studying at HNUE always receive special attention from the Party Committee and the University's Board of Directors. They are warmly welcomed and supported by the Administration - International Relations Department, Training Department, Postgraduate Department, Science and Technology Department, Dormitory, and other departments within the university, along with the training faculty. This support is a testament to the respect and appreciation we have for our Lao students and trainees, making them feel secure, confident, and ready for their studies at HNUE.
