Closing ceremony of Peer assesment council of Hanoi National University of Education according to Teacher Education Institution

After 3 working days of the Peer assesment Council, at 16:00 pm on October 23, 2019 Hanoi National University of Education held the closing ceremony of the University's Peer Assessment Program according to Teacher Education Institution Development Index (TEIDI), ETEP program in 2019.

 

Attending the Closing session were members of the Council; Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Van Hien, Deputy Director of National ETEP, Ministry of Education and Training; Assoc.Prof.Dr. Dang Xuan Thu, Secretary of the University Party Committee, University Deputy President; Prof.Dr. Do Viet Hung, Chairman of the University Board; Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Van Trao, University Deputy President; Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Vu Bich Hien, University Deputy President; University ETEP Management; University TEIDI council; and Heads of Univeristy offices.

On behalf of the Council, Assoc.Prof. Dr. Tran Huu Hoan, Chairman of the Council gave a general report on the results of the standards of the self-assessment report. Assoc.Prof.Dr. Tran Huu Hoan, Chairman of the council, expressed: with a sense of responsibility, following the plan within a short time frame, a lot of work tasks, the Council reviewed the details of the index, criteria, standards ... at the same time, discussed and interviewed with University leaders, heads of departments, offices, faculties, institutes, centers, students, learners, thereby had more evidence to add the self-assessment for the university to get more complete, and at the same time, recommended to the University the points that need to be added, corrected some small indicators to complete the University report better. Thus, on behalf of the Council, he appreciated the university's efforts and thanked the University for cooperating and creating conditions with open spirit for the evaluation council to complete the work on time.

Representative of National ETEP, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Van Hien thanked the University for participating in the assesment the offcies for sending staffs to participate in the assesment, and the representative of the World Bank, supervisors and colleagues for working conscientiously in a short time with a large workload completed on schedule. Assoc. Dr. Nguyen Van Hien also shared the assessment process is to help the university to evaluate itself properly, thus, develop plan of the University. It is necessary to propagate deeply to each staff so that all can understand the policies as well as being a channel for the University to gather evidencefast and effectively.

On behalf of the University's leadership, Assoc. Prof. Dr.Dang Xuan Thu expressed deep gratitude to the leaders of the National ETEP, the World Bank, the Supervisors and special thanks to the members of the committee who have worked responsibly, honestly, pointing out the strengths that need to be promoted and the remaining points for the university to overcome. On behalf of the University, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dang Xuan Thu received the opinions of theCouncil to make corrections and completions.
