Hanoi National University of Education collaborates with the representative of the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Vietnam and the Center for Technology and Resource Development (Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China)

On the morning of December 5th, 2023, Hanoi National University of Education cordially welcomed the representatives of the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Vietnam and the Center for Technology and Resource Development (Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China) for a visit and working session at the university.

From the side of the Embassy of the People's Republic of China and the Center for Technology and Resource Development, was the presence of Mr. Ngo Cuong - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Secretary of the Disciplinary Inspection Committee; Mr. Trinh Dai Vi - Education Counselor of the Chinese Embassy in Vietnam; Mr. Vuong Dinh Quan - First Secretary of the Chinese Embassy in Vietnam; Ms. Lo Yen Binh - Head of the Organization Department; Mr. Trieu Lam - Head of the Vocational Education Development Department; Ms. Ha Kien Man - Researcher of the Preschool and Special Education Department; Mr. Truong Kinh Dao - Editor of the Research and Development Planning Department.

Representing Hanoi National University of Education (HNUE), the participants in the working session included Prof. Nguyen Van Minh - President of the university; Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Van Hien - Vice President of the university; Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Van Trao - Vice President of the university; Dr. Dinh Minh Hang - Head of the President's Office; Dr. Tran Ba Trinh - Head of the Office of Undergraduate Affairs; Dr. Vuong Huy Tho - Director of the Center for Continuing Education and Training; Mr. Bui Duc Nam - Head of the Planning and Finance Department; Dr. Pham Thi Ngoc Quynh - Deputy Head of the President's Office; Ms. Thai Thi Cam Trang - Deputy Director of the Center for Education Development and Digital Technology; Mr. Nguyen Duy Hai - Information Technology Center; Dr. Ngo Thi Khanh Chi - Head of the Chinese Language Department; Dr. Hy Thi Hong Nhung - Deputy Head of the Chinese Language Department.

During the meeting, Prof. Nguyen Van Minh delivered a welcoming speech to the delegation from the Embassy and the Center for Technology and Resource Development. He emphasized the long-standing and close cooperation and cultural exchange between China and Vietnam in education. He also highlighted the university's efforts in expanding international cooperation with reputable educational institutions and organizations from China, such as Nanjing Normal University, Van Son Academy, and Qilin Academy. Prof. Nguyen Van Minh expressed his hope that the Chinese Embassy in Vietnam would support the connection between HNUE and the Center for Technology and Resource Development, as well as other prestigious universities in China, to facilitate further exchanges, digital cooperation, and the organization of the HSK Chinese Proficiency Test for Vietnamese students.

In his speech at the working session, Mr. Ngo Cuong - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Secretary of the Disciplinary Inspection Committee, and representative of the Center for Technology and Resource Development, expressed sincere gratitude for the warm reception from the university. He pointed out the similarities in education and digital transformation between China and Vietnam. He also affirmed the potential for educational cooperation between the Center for Technology and Resource Development and HNUE in educational collaboration, digital transformation, and the organization of the HSK Chinese Proficiency Test.

During the exchange, Mr. Trinh Dai Vi - Education Counselor at the Chinese Embassy in Vietnam, thanked HNUE for the warm welcome to the delegation. He emphasized that cultural and educational cooperation with Vietnam is one of China's top priorities. To promote educational cooperation, research, and training, the Embassy will serve as a bridge between HNUE and leading universities and organizations in China, specifically the Center for Technology and Resource Development (Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China).

The working session opened up opportunities for collaboration between HNUE and the Center for Technology and Resource Development (Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China). During the meeting, Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Van Hien, Vice President of the university, also shared information about digital transformation programs in education and within the university, affirming that the university is gradually innovating and practically applying digital transformation in training and student management.
