Microsoft honors Vietnamese female teacher

TTO - Teacher Tran Huong Quynh from Vietnam, the winner of the Global Educator Challenge of Microsoft has just taken place in Paris, France.

At the Education Exchange event, educators and trainers from all over the world gathered, exchanging ideas to improve the classroom experience. Teachers have discussed and explored new teaching trends, in order to bring an equal class and high interaction, as well as modern teaching and learning skills.

This year, Asia has 7 teachers honored in 5 categories at the Global Education Challenge. The winning team consists of 6 members, including teacher Tran Huong Quynh from Vietnam with the idea of a teaching curriculum for pedagogical students.

Ms. Tran Huong Quynh is a lecturer in English Linguistics, Faculty of English, Hanoi National University of Education.

According to the judges' evaluation, the idea of ​​meeting this year's criteria in terms of creativity, collaboration, listening and integration. “The curriculum is considered to be very creative in helping pedagogical students improve their understanding of inclusion by integrating Minecraft virtual worlds into the real world and listening to student contributions through Flipgrid” quoted the judges' comments.

"Teachers play the decisive and important role in the future of youth today," said Anthony Salcito, Vice President of Education at Microsoft, "It is good to see those people enthusiastic teachers, constantly innovating and renovating, bring new technology and skills, as well as memorable experiences to the classroom, from there, equip future skills needed for students".
