Award of Science and Technology is an annual reward for the collectives and individuals of Hanoi National University of Education with outstanding achievements in scientific research. The award aims to honor the scientific research results of collectives and individuals over a five-year period. In 2019, the school organized a review and decision to award the Science and Technology field to 2 collectives and 4 individuals with outstanding achievements in scientific research for the period 2014 - 2019.

The collectives and individuals won the following prizes:

Collective award:

• The Department of Practical Psychology, the Faculty of Psychology, won the Typical Collective Award in Research.
• The Department of Mathematical Analysis, the Department of Mathematics - Informatics, won the Department prize for many scientific topics.

Individual award:

- Assoc. Prof. Dr. Luc Huy Hoang - Faculty of Physics, won the first prize.

- Assoc. Pro. Dr. Nguyen Thu Tuan - Faculty of Arts, won the first prize.

- Dr. Le Trung Dung - Faculty of Biology, won the prize of young officials with scientific research achievements.

- Dr. Ngo Tuan Cuong – Faculty of Chemistry, won the prize of outstanding scientific article in 2019.

During the seminar, the delegates listened to the opinions of Dr. Nguyen Nhu Quynh, Deputy Chief Inspector of the Ministry of Science and Technology on Intellectual Property in the university. The speaker focused on the following contents: the role of intellectual property, intellectual property and innovation in Vietnam, intellectual property in institutes, schools, existences, problems and a number of solutions. The presentation contents of Dr. Nguyen Nhu Quynh showed the significance and importance as well as the role of intellectual property in the research activities of scientists and universities. Characteristics of scientific research activities in universities largely create products that are knowledge. Therefore, intellectual property associated with innovation activities, and intellectual property rights are support effectively and ensure the rights for research activities of scientists.
