Representatives from the Center for Educational Quality Accreditation—Vietnam National University, Hanoi (CEA-VNUH): Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dinh Van Toan, Deputy Director of the Center, Chairman of the Educational Quality Accreditation Council, and permanent member of the External Evaluation Team (EET); Prof. Dr. Nguyen Huu Duc, Head of the EET; Dr. Nguyen Thi Thu Huong, Secretary; and members of the EET attended the closing ceremony.
From Hanoi National University of Education (HNUE), there were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Hien - Party Secretary and Chairman of the University Council, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Duc Son - President and Vice Presidents: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Trao and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kieu Van Hoan. Also attending the closing ceremony were members of the Self-Evaluation Council, leaders of functional units, representatives of the faculties with training programs being evaluated, and officials, lecturers, and students from relevant faculties.
At the closing session, the External Evaluation Team (EET) gave a preliminary report on the results of the official evaluation, which the EET had compiled through activities such as:
- Reviewing self-assessment reports and supporting documents.
- Working directly with staff in charge of specialized areas at functional units and units with training programs being evaluated.
- Interviewing relevant stakeholders inside and outside the university.
- Visit and inspect the university's facilities used for the training programs, such as libraries, resource rooms, practice rooms, classrooms, etc.
The evaluation was based on 11 criteria according to Circular 04/2016/TT-BGDĐT dated March 14, 2016, of the Ministry of Education and Training on quality assessment standards for training programs at all higher education levels.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Thanh Nam - an EET member, began by presenting the evaluation results of the five training programs according to Criteria 1-5, followed by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dinh Van Toan, a permanent member of the EET, gave comments and evaluations of the training programs according to Criteria 6-10. The report concluded with a presentation on Criterion 11 by Prof. Dr. Nguyen Huu Duc - Head of the EET.
On behalf of the EET, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Huu Duc - Head of the Team, summarized the opinions and comments of the team members and analyzed the strengths while also pointing out the limitations and proposing specific recommendations for the five training programs of HNUE: Technology Education, French Language Education, Music Education, Fine Arts Education, and Political Education. The EET gave highly positive comments and assessments on the quality of training in the five disciplines and offered valuable recommendations for the Hanoi National University of Education.

Following the presentation by the External Evaluation Team, Dr. Tran Thi Thu Ha, Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts Education, representing the units in charge of the training programs being evaluated, gave a speech expressing sincere gratitude to the members of the Team. She also committed to working with relevant departments to immediately develop and implement a plan to overcome the limitations and shortcomings to improve and enhance the quality of the training programs by the Team's recommendations.
Dr. Tran Thi Thu Ha, Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts Education, Hanoi National University of Education,shared at the closing ceremony.
Speaking at the closing ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Duc Son, Rector of Hanoi National University of Education, expressed his sincere gratitude to the Center for Educational Quality Accreditation - Vietnam National University, Hanoi (CEA-VNUH) and the External Evaluation Team (EET) for successfully completing the official evaluation of the training programs over the past 5 days at the University with a spirit of seriousness, responsibility, objectivity, and profound humanity. The University acknowledged the fairness, scientific working methods, and professionalism of the EET in making accurate assessments of the current state of the training programs and providing meaningful and practical recommendations for the University. These recommendations will help the University develop specific plans and action programs to improve the quality of education in the coming period.

In his speech, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Duc Son also highly appreciated the positive contributions of all university officials, employees, and students, who, despite difficulties, have united with the University's leadership to participate in the external evaluation in a professional and objective manner to affirm the prestige and quality of the University's training programs. The Rector requested that relevant units and individuals continue coordinating effectively with the External Evaluation Team to finalize the contents related to the external evaluation report of the five training programs.

Prof. Dr. Dinh Van Toan - Deputy Director of the Center, congratulated HNUE on completing the official evaluation of the five training programs. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dinh Van Toan expressed his sincere gratitude to the University's leadership, relevant departments, and units, especially the faculties with training programs being evaluated, and thanked the lecturers, students of HNUE, and stakeholders for their enthusiastic cooperation in implementing the activities of this external evaluation.

At the end of the program, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dinh Van Toan - Deputy Director of CEA-VNUH, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Huu Duc - Head of the External Evaluation Team, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Duc Son - President of HNUE, signed the minutes of completion of the official evaluation of the five training programs at Hanoi National University of Education.
