Present from the French Embassy in Vietnam was Mr. Denis Fourmeau, Attaché for University Scientific Cooperation.

On behalf of Hanoi National University of Education, the following people were able to attend the meeting: Assoc. Prof.  Nguyen Van Hien - Party Secretary, Chairman of the University Council; Dr. Dinh Minh Hang - Head of The President's Office; Prof. Le Huy Bac - Director of the Institute for International Education and Training; Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Ba Cuong - Director of the University of Education Publisher; Dr. Trinh Thuy Duong - Head of the Faculty of French; Dr. Dao Thi Bich Nguyen - Deputy Head of the Faculty of English; Dr. Pham Thi Ngoc Quynh - Deputy Head of The President's Office; M.A. Hoang Thi Hong Van - Lecturer in the French Faculty; M.A. Doan Thi Thanh Trang - Staff of the University of Education Publisher.

At the meeting, Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Van Hien welcomed Mr. Denis to the University. He introduced the university's history, key information about training and teaching, and international cooperation activities between the university and French institutions and universities.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Denis Fourmeau expressed his sincere gratitude for the warm welcome from the University, pointing out opportunities for cooperation in education, training, science and technology through support programs from French universities and the French government.

At the exchange meeting, Prof. Le Huy Bac - Director of the Institute for International Education and Training; Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Ba Cuong - Director of the University of Education Publisher; Dr. Trinh Thuy Duong - Head of the French Faculty; Dr. Dao Thi Bich Nguyen - Vice Head of the English Faculty also presented in detail the cooperation activities of their units and proposed many more practical and effective forms of cooperation in the coming time.

Concluding the meeting, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Hien emphasized four critical tasks regarding international cooperation. He hoped that the French Embassy would bridge the Hanoi National University of Education and the French education system through future cooperation programs. Mr. Denis Fourmeau acknowledged the University's valuable achievements. He committed to working with the French Embassy to connect the Hanoi National University of Education with relevant agencies, organizations, and universities in France.
