On behalf of Hanoi National University of Education (HNUE), attending the meeting was the presence of Dr. Pham Thi Ngoc Quynh - Deputy Head of the President’s Office, Dr. Do Xuan Duyet - Dean, Faculty of Physical Education; Dr. Ngo Vu Thu Hang - Principal, Nguyen Tat Thanh Primary School; Mr. Nguyen Thanh Chien - Staff, the President’s Office.
At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Pham Thi Ngoc Quynh expressed the warmest greeting to all the delegates of the Educatio Policy Review Commission of the Ministry of Education and Sports, Uganda coming to HNUE. Dr. Pham Thi Ngoc Quynh introduced the history of HNUE, key information about its training and teaching programs, the position of HNUE in the national education system, and the important achievements of the institution. Next, Dr. Do Xuan Duyet, Dean of the Physical Education Faculty, shared information about the faculty's training programs, the role and position of the Physical Education Faculty in the national teacher training system for physical education. Dr. Ngo Vu Thu Hang, Principal of Nguyen Tat Thanh Primary School, discussed the specific characteristics of the Primary Education Faculty at Hanoi National University of Education and the main features in the formation and development process of Nguyen Tat Thanh Primary School.
Representing the Education Policy Review Commission of Uganda, Sir Mushega Nuwe Amanya, Chairman, and Dr. Joseph Muvawala, Deputy Chairman, raised questions about the mission of HNUE, training methods, and the role and position of Hanoi National University of Education within the national teacher training system. Additionally, the delegation members also asked numerous questions about the institution's operations, training scale, admission procedures, employment rates of students, and income of teachers at different levels. Based on the responses from the institution's representatives, the Education Policy Review Commission of Uganda highly appreciated the comprehensive and effective educational model of Hanoi National University of Education.
The Education Policy Review Commission of Uganda spent time visiting the campus of Hanoi National University of Education, Nguyen Tat Thanh Primary School, as well as the sports hall and stadium. The working session concluded with in-depth discussions and potential educational connections between the two countries.
